This weekend, Vanessa has finally decided to go on vacation and she has invited Alycia’s family. After discussing with Xander, they’ll be heading to Mt Komorebi for two nights.
It was quite late when they arrived at the rental, Chris and Xander headed out to get extra supplies since there weren’t enough beds for the toddlers.
Meanwhile, Vanessa prepared a quick meal and after everyone ate, they went to bed after the long trip.
The next day, Vanessa went sledding with her toddlers and played in the snow. The kids spent the day outside, having fun with their cousins.
In the evening, Vanessa and Alycia sat by the fireplace as they watched Chris play with the kids.
Vanessa couldn’t help but notice how loving and caring Chris was to the kids and Alycia.
“Wow Chris is so good with the kids, is he always like this?”
Vanessa asked as she looked towards Alycia.
“Yeah, he spends more time with them since he works three days a week. Hopefully, when I get promoted I can also work less and be at home more.”
Vanessa : “By the way,, I was thinking of getting a bigger place. Have you thought about moving out of your home? Yours must be getting packed with all the kids.”
Alycia : “Chris and I have discussed it before, we’ve been saving up for the move but we still don’t have enough for the places we’ve checked.”
Vanessa : “Oh, I guess I should start saving up too. Why don’t we find a twin apartment and live together, that way the kids can be familiar with each other”
Alycia “Not a bad idea, I’ll let you know what I decide to do later.”
After the vacation, the next time Vanessa met up with Alycia was at McKenzie’s vow renewal.
This was followed by Chaz’s vow renewal and they decided to look for some available rentals.
Weeks later, Vanessa gets a call from Blaze. He lets her know that he now owns a few apartments and is renting it out to family members that need a place to stay. Delighted, Vanessa asks where it is located and he tells her that it is in Sans Sequoia. He also mentions that the apartment is currently unfurnished and that she’ll have to take care of that. She thanks him and calls up Alycia to tell her the news.
